Do you take insurance?

I am an out of network provider. If you have out of network insurance benefits, you may be eligible for full/partial reimbursement for psychotherapy. I can provide you with an insurance acceptable monthly receipt for fees paid, also referred to as a Superbill, that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

How much do sessions cost?

The out of pocket rate for the initial intake session is $250 and subsequent session rate is $200. I offer a number of sliding scale spots based on financial need.

How often are therapy sessions?

Generally, we would meet for sessions once or twice weekly and they range from 45-50 minutes.

What if I've never been in therapy before?

Welcome. No experience necessary. I understand starting therapy can be intimidating and will work with you every step of the way. Let's meet exactly where you're at.

Do you offer in person sessions?

Currently, I am not offering in person counseling sessions on a weekly basis. However, we can discuss the option of meeting occasionally in person in the Financial District. Sessions are primarily conducted virtually via HIPAA compliant video platform.

Do I need any special equipment for telehealth therapy?

All you need is a private, comfortable location, a web browser, and device with audio/video capability. Headphones offer added privacy but are not required.

Can I work with you if I live or travel outside of New York State?

Due to licensing regulations, clients are required to be physically in New York state (state of license) during our scheduled telehealth therapy sessions.
